چکیده

A novel regenerated cellulose (RC) membrane containing cerium oxide (CeO2) nanoparticles is described in detail. In this work, CeO2 with high surface area and mesoporosity were prepared by a modified template-assisted precipitation method. Successful synthesis was achieved using nitrate as precursor, adjusting the final pH solution to around 11 ammonium hydroxide ethylene diamine, annealing at 550 °C for 3 hours under protective gas flow. This resulted of 55.55 m².g–1 nanoparticles. The particles synthesized environmentally friendly catalyst cellulose/CeO2 characterized Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) measurements. g-value 2.276 has confirmed presence superoxide species EPR. photocatalytic activity evaluated through degradation methylene blue visible light irradiation UV-VIS degraded 80% 120 minutes, showing better than catalyst, which approximately 62% same period. It been proven that RC not only good transparent supporting material but also adsorption high-performance catalyst. Complete CO oxidation over Cu2O nanoparticles supported on silica gel.

We find that nearly monodisperse copper oxide nanoparticles prepared via the thermal decomposition of a Cu(I) precursor exhibit exceptional activity toward CO oxidation in CO/O2/N2 mixtures. Greater than 99.5% conversion of CO to CO2 could be achieved at temperatures less than 250 degrees C for over 12 h. In addition, the phase diagram and pathway for CO oxidation on Cu2O (100) is computed by a...

Mild activation of CeO2-supported gold nanoclusters and insight into the catalytic behavior in CO oxidation.

We report a new activation method and insight into the catalytic behavior of a CeO2-supported, atomically precise Au144(SR)60 nanocluster catalyst (where thiolate -SR = -SCH2CH2Ph) for CO oxidation. An important finding is that the activation of the catalyst is closely related to the production of active oxygen species on CeO2, rather than ligand removal of the Au144(SR)60 clusters. A mild O2 p...

Synthesis and Catalytic Features of Hybrid Metal Nanoparticles Supported on Cellulose Nanofibers

The structural and functional design of metal nanoparticles has recently allowed remarkable progress in the development of high-performance catalysts. Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) are among the most innovative catalysts, despite bulk Au metal being regarded as stable and inactive. The hybridization of metal NPs has attracted major interest in the field of advanced nanocatalysts, due to electro-me...
